Charles Thain Hacon

Charles Thain Hacon (15 Sept. 1837) was the twin brother of Alfred Thain Hacon, the son of Henry Hacon and Mary Thain.

In 1881 he was listed as a cabinetmaker, 44,  living in Yarmouth at 19 Row 91 South Side with his wife Harriet E (45) and children Harriet Elizabeth Matilda (21), Charles Henry (20), Agnes Mary (18), Flora Louisa (11), Edith M (8). Ethel Stuart (5) and Arthur Stuart (4). All children were born in Yarmouth. In 1881, Flora and Ethel were silk winders, Edith a dressmaker and Arthur was an errand boy for a blacksmith.

The couple were married on
25 Jun 1859 at St. Nicholas. The groom's father was Henry Hacon and the bride's was William Stuart. In the 1901 census, he was 63 and a cabinetmaker. Harriet is listed as 65.
